The CPF is the document that registers the taxpayers (Brazilian and foreign) with the Federal Revenue of Brazil. To issue it, you must go to any post office (Correios) with the passport (original) or the RNE (or the RNE protocol) and pay a fee in the amount of 7 (seven) reais.

Attention: the CPF is mandatory for registering in the UEL system and for opening a bank account.
