To open a bank account, you must go to a branch of Banco do Brasil with the following documents:
 

1. RNE (National Registry of Foreigners) or the protocol issued by the Federal Police;

2. Document of  identification of your home country with photo (preferably your passport);

3. CPF (Individual Taxpayer);

4. Proof of regular registration or student bond issued by UEL;

5. Proof of residence (account of water, electricity or telephone) in your name or a statement, signed and notarized, attesting that you reside in the informed address.
