Since 2013, the Foreign Languages Department has been promoting monthly gatherings called Intercultural Coffee (Café Intercultural) which aims to foster the integration among UEL’s international students (also the external community) and the local community.

The Intercultural Coffee gatherings provide an ideal venue for interaction and practice of foreign languages as well as for personal and professional academic development.

​

Thus, the international students can practice the Portuguese language at the Intercultural Coffee, as well as in their official Portuguese classes offered at UEL.
