Housing

Like other Brazilian universities, UEL does not have university dormitories for foreign students. Most of the Brazilian students live in repúblicas or pensionatos. To learn more about these housing options, take a look at the links below

If you choose to rent a property (home or apartment) in Brazil, you will need to present a fiador or pay for a seguro fiança. Check here to find out how it works.

Attention: UEL is not responsible for any agreements or housing contracts. Ideally, therefore, you should ask for the terms and conditions of the rent in writing, for example: what is included in the amount charged? What is the period of the lease? What are the rules of coexistence? Is there a penalty in case of termination of the contract? Here you will find a suggested lease term template.
